The Ashe and Watauga Health Department provides a Travel Clinic that is equipped to provide a number of key services for travelers. Our travel clinic offers pre-travel advice, travel related prescriptions and vaccinations.
Important travel immunizations are also available and include but are not limited to:
- Hepatitis A & B
- Meningococcal
- Polio
- Tetanus
- Typhoid
- Yellow Fever
- Malaria prevention
Hours of operation are 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Travel clinic is done by appointment only. Please call to make an appointment. Please contact the health department in your county as soon as you begin planning your trip. Some vaccines may take as long as 6 months to complete.
