How do I apply for an internship?
Step 1:
Find the application form at the bottom of this page that explains how to apply including all required documents that must be turned in:
- a completed application form [Link to PDF Application Form, fill out online, save or download, fill out in Adobe Reader, save your copy and e-mail]
- a resume
- a cover letter describing why you want to intern at the Appalachian District Health Department
- three reference letters (one of which must be a faculty member from whom you have taken a class)
For your convenience, all above-mentioned documents can be emailed to Stephanie Craven Bunch, stephanie.craven@apphealth.com
Step 2:
Once all of the above-mentioned forms are received, a Health Promotion staff person will call you to schedule your panel interview and comprehensive skills assessment. You should plan for these activities to take approximately 2 hours total.
Activities will include:
- A panel interview with the Health Promotion staff team
- A skills assessment in basic writing and educational material development

How do I apply for a Volunteer Opportunity?
